courses are developed by K12.com. We also offer ASL by Signing

LOG-IN |
The
OnLine School is provided through K12 and is where you track your
student's progress and attendance. You can also customize your
daily and weekly schedule according to what lessons you want done
each day. It is also where the online
portions of the lessons are accessed and completed. There are
trainings available to help you learn how to navigate within the
OLS. |

TIME |

The
lessons for the K12 curriculum are found through the OLS. Some
are completed online and others can be done offline. Sometimes the lessons will include additional links and/or information
or lessons that can be used to further enhance your learning. |

ACCOUNT |
Once you are in your OLS, you
can go to My Account and set up student accounts for your
children. You can also make other changes to your profile. |

INFO |
You can view summaries of
your students' progress, attendance, test scores etc. in My Info in
your OLS. This is also where you can track their shipments of
their materials. (Click on the student's name to get their
information.) |

BOARDS |
YOU
MUST LOG IN TO YOUR OLS AND THEN CLICK HERE: These
discussion boards are for parents to chat about the courses and
their experiences. Many of the boards are divided by course so
you can go log on and search for more in specifically about Art 2 or
ask a question or share an experience. (Remember that these
are K12 boards so some of the answers or situations may not apply to
WOSU.) |

YOU
MUST LOG IN TO YOUR OLS AND THEN CLICK HERE: This section has games to
learn and/or review objectives learned in grades K-8. These
are also incorporated in the actual lessons but students often like
to go back and play them just for fun. |
| SPEAKER
SERIES |
During the school year, K12
provides online sessions presented by different specialist.
They discuss many topics from dealing with your student to math and
space. These are usually recorded so if you miss one, you can
go back and "attend" the recorded session later. THIS
LINK DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO BE LOGGED IN UNLESS YOU GO TO THE
ARCHIVE. |

SIGNING COURSE |
We
now offer Signing Time's Classroom Edition as a choice for one of
the courses. It is an award-winning American Sign Language

| HEADSETS |
WOSU
has headsets for each family to use throughout their enrollment
period. These headsets include an attached microphone which
comes in handy for Elluminate sessions, Powerspeak lessons as well
as any other computer audio experiences. Contact your teacher
if you would like one. |

SUPPORT |
Make
sure to check out the supplement support provided by the
staff. There
are many ways to help you enhance your schoolday. |
| ELLUMINATE
ROOMS |
Many
of the sessions and trainings provided by the staff are done online
through their e-offices. These offices are also used for a
variety of parent/student/teacher conferences as needed. If
you are planning to attend an online session for the first time,
please plan on logging in early in order to get your computer set up
before the session starts. Click on the link to get to the
