These sessions are designed to help our parents in their quest to educate their children.  We hope that you find tips, helps, encouragement, ideas, support and more while attending these sessions.  If you missed one that you would like to attend, never fear.  Watch for them to be repeated later in the year.

OLS Training for Parents with WOSU Teachers

Our teachers will be providing training for parents to learn about the K12 Online School (OLS) and how to navigate within the OLS as each school year begins . All are encouraged to attend. 

Most of these sessions are done at the beginning of each school year but periodically another one will be added as a bonus.

Practical Solutions to Tough Childhood Problems with Sara Souza

In this session we will be going over the information in, "The Tough Kid Parent Book". The information in this book will help you to manage "tough" behaviors step-by-step positively and confidently. 

This series will include 6 sessions (one each month).

All About Utah Writes: 5th & 8th Graders & their Parents with Julie Baggaley

5th and 8th Graders will be taking an online writing test this year.  These tests will use the Utah Write system (www.utahwrite.com).  If you are a 5th or 8th grader or the parent of one, please join us! You will learn how to use this system to improve writing and be prepared for test day!

This class will give you tips and tricks on how to get the most from your WOSU online schooling experience: how to customize lessons; when enough is enough; how to help the hard-to-motivate child; how to keep everything organized with more than one child.
